The Regional Service Authority would like to thank the voters of Ouray County for passing a 3/8 mil levy during the 2020 election.  This funding is essential for the health and wellness of our area.  Thank you for your support of this valuable Ouray County resource!

RSA Board Meetings have been moved to the Ouray County Fairgrounds and 4H Center located at 22739 Highway 550 Ridgway, CO.  This includes the Board Meeting and Public Hearing scheduled for Thursday November 19th at 12:30pm.  All future Board Meetings will take place at the 4H Center until further notice.

2021 PRELIMINARY BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2021 Preliminary Budget has been submitted to the Ouray County Regional Service Authority Board of Directors. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ouray County Regional Service Authority will conduct a Public Hearing to consider the proposed budget at a regular RSA Board of Directors meeting, to be held at Alpine Bank in Ridgway, Colorado, at 12:30pm on November 19, 2020.

Any interested elector of the said district may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and, particularly, to the electors of Districts One (1), Three (3) and Five (5) of the Ouray County Regional Service Authority of Ouray County, Colorado.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election be held on the 3rd day of November, 2020, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  At that time, one director from District One, one director from District Three and one from District Five will be elected to serve 4-year terms.  Eligible electors of the Ouray County Regional Service Authority District interested in serving on the board of directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from the District Designated Election Official (DEO) listed below, or at www.ouraycountyrsa.org, or by contacting Michelle Nauer at the Ouray County Clerk’s office located at 541 4^th Street Ouray, Colorado 81432 or (970)325-4961.

The deadline to submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance is close of business on Friday, August 28, 2020 (not less than 67 days before the election).  If the DEO determines that a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form is not sufficient, the eligible elector who submitted the form may amend the form once, at any time, prior to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020.  Earlier submittal is encouraged as the deadline will not permit curing an insufficient form.  Affidavit of Intent To Be A Write-In-Candidate forms must be submitted to the office of the County Clerk by the close of business on Monday, August 31, 2020.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, an application for a mail-in/absentee ballot shall be filed with the County Clerk no later than the close of business on Monday, October 26, 2020

The Ouray County Regional Service Authority announces that it will place a mill levy initiative on the 2020 ballot.  The RSA’s current mill levy expires in December 2020.  Approval of a new mill levy will allow the RSA to continue to help ensure primary medical care is available in Ouray County.

The RSA owns the 35-year-old building which houses Mountain Medical Center.  With multiple leaks, the RSA tackled re-roofing the building this past fall.  This project was made possible by carefully stewarding tax payer dollars saved specifically for this purpose for almost a decade!  Your money, thoughtfully used to accomplish the RSA mission of ensuring primary care services here in Ouray County!
